Abstract [sv]

Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie är att sammanställa internationell forskning kring elevers lärande i programmering och vilka faktorer som påverkar undervisningen i programmering kopplat till matematikämnet för årskurserna 1-6. Sökningen av datan skedde i databasen ERIC (Ebsco). Resultatet visade på att elevers matematiska kunskaper har betydelse för lärandet av programmering och att förståelsen för begreppen inom programmering ökar med åldern. Även lärares kompetensnivå är avgörande för undervisningens kvalité.

Abstract [en]

The aim of this systematic literary review is to gather international research regarding student learning in programming and which key aspects, that has considerable effects on the success of programming in mathematics education for years 1-6. The research was conducted in the database ERIC (Ebsco). Results showed that students mathematical knowledge has an impact on the learning of programming, and that understanding of programming concepts increases with age. Also, teachers’ skills in programming is vital for the quality of the education.
