Abstract [en]

The aim of this study is to find out how the Police in Örebro represents themselves through the language on their Facebook Page, during 2016. Our research questions touches the subject of how the Police in Örebro represents themselves and through their choice of language. 10 posts were analyzed based on identity, linguistic features and style levels to find linguistic patterns. Our analysis show that the Police in Örebro represents themselves as a trustworthy and reliable authority that wants to create and maintain a relationship with their followers.
