Abstract [en]

The purpose of this essay is to analyse how the imagery functions in C. S. Lewis's novels The Magician's Nephew and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to elucidate Christian truths. This will be done by discussing Lewis's own concept of evoking Christian truths by using imagery, and by focusing on this imagery as it is expressed in animate images, inanimate imgaes and imagery magic.
