Abstract [sv]

Samarbete sker i olika typer av sociala sammanhang, det kan vara på jobbet eller i skolan. Iskolan kan laborativa material vara ett sätt att främja elevers samarbete och utvecklakommunikativa färdigheter mellan eleverna. Med en systematisk litteraturstudie är syftet att undersöka vad forskning säger om hur konkreta laborativa material främjar elevers samarbete iskolans matematikundervisning. Den här studien inkluderar elever i låg och mellanstadiet frånårskurs ett till årskurs sex. Databasen ERIC används för att sammanställa vetenskapligt granskadurval som ligger till grund för här systematisk litteraturstudien. Resultatet visar att samarbetetökar mellan eleverna i matematikundervisningen när lärare använder konkret laborativa material iklassrummet. Resultatet visar också att när eleverna arbetar med laborativt material får demöjlighet att kommunicera med varandra och diskutera matematiska problem tillsammans vilketleder till att öka elevers inlärning samt utveckla elevers kommunikativa färdigheter.

Abstract [en]

Collaboration takes place in different types of social life, such as at work or at school. Atschool, laboratory materials can be a way to promote students’ collaboration and developcommunication skills. With a systematic literature study, the purpose is to study and find outwhat research and studies tell about how laboratory materials promote student collaboration inmathematics education. This study includes students from elementary schools first grader tointermediary stage six grader. The ERIC database is used to compile a scientific basis for thissystematic literature study. The result shows that collaboration increases between students inmathematics teaching when teachers use the concrete laboratory material in the classroom.Results show that when students work with laboratory material, they are given the opportunity tocommunicate with each other and discuss mathematical problems together. This leads to anincrease in learning outcome and develops show that students gain better mathematics skills andmore knowledge of the abstract concepts in mathematics.
