Produktutveckling för reducerad ljudnivå på luftbehandlingsaggregat

Abstract [sv]

Examensarbetet har genomförts på ett ventilationsföretag. Företaget tillverkar bland annat luftbehandlingsaggregat vilket denna rapport behandlar. Vibrationerna i chassit reducerades.

Abstract [en]

The bachelor thesis has been carried out at a ventilation company. The company manufactures, among other things, air handling units, which this report deals with. The purpose of the thesis was to see if a reduction of mechanical vibrations in the unit's chassis reduces the overall noise level. Vibrations occur in the fans, either from the produced air flow or from mechanical vibrations when the fan is mounted directly in the chassis. To reduce the mechanical vibrations in the chassis, three prototypes were constructed in which rubber bodies insulated the fan from the chassis. The prototypes were tested through vibration laboratories where vibrations were measured in the unit m/s2 and over a frequency spectrum as a Fast Fourier Transform diagram (FFT-diagram). Finally, a sound measurement was performed on the prototype where the largest reduction in vibrations occurred. The vibrations in the chassis were reduced. The total noise level from the unit was reduced. For further work, laboratory work with other hardnesses on the rubber distances is recommended.
