This work has been carried out at the production office for the Ground Combat area at Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga. As demand for their products increases, so does the demand for the production aspect. They want a more efficient start-up of their production for new or changed products. The goal of this work has therefore been to make an analysis of the company's internal documents and create an understanding of how they implement the standard they follow with associated checklists to finally come up with opportunities for improvement. The analysis has been performed through data collection in the form of, among other things, literature studies but also interviews. The work started by studying Saab Dynamics' current processes in their operating system GMS, where all processes and documents for the entire Saab are gathered. The purpose was to create a description of the current situation and get a survey of the processes. Subsequently, several interviews were conducted with employees at the company but also an external company to discover any similarities and differences that could be of use, and map how the processes are followed in practice. There are opportunities for improvement with GMS, and the organization could benefit from a more process-oriented approach. 

Detta arbete har utförts på produktionskontoret för Ground Combat området på Saab Dynamics i Karlskoga. Då en ökad efterfrågan på deras produkter ställer högre krav på produktionsaspekten så önskas en effektivare uppstart av produktionen för nya eller förändrade produkter. Målet med arbetet har därför varit att göra en analys av företagets interna dokument och skapa en förståelse för hur de implementerar standarden de följer med tillhörande checklistor för att slutligen kunna komma med olika förbättringsmöjligheter. Analysen har utförts genom datainsamling i form av bland annat litteraturstudier men också intervjuer. Arbetet startades genom att studera Saab Dynamics nuvarande processer i deras verksamhetssystem GMS där alla processer och dokument för hela Saab finns samlade. Syftet var att skapa en nulägesbeskrivning och få en kartläggning på processerna. Därefter genomfördes flera intervjuer med medarbetare på företaget men även ett externt företag för att upptäcka eventuella likheter och skillnader som kunde dras nytta av men även för att kartlägga hur processerna följs i praktiken.  Slutsatsen som drogs var att förbättringsmöjligheter fanns med hur användandet av GMS ser ut samt att förankra användandet av interna dokument. Även att organisationen behöver ett mer processorienterat arbetssätt.
