Korleis kan ein legge til rette for ei funksjonell og formålsretta skriveopplæring for dei yngste skuleelevane? For å kaste lys over dette spørsmålet vil vi diskutere forholdet mellom skrivarutvikling og skriveutvikling, teksterfaringar, repertoar og meistringstru. Artikkelen har form av ei fagleg drøfting, forankra i tidlegare forsking og eit multimodalt sosialsemiotisk perspektiv på skriving. Resonnementet blir underbygd gjennom analyse av etnografiske data og elevtekstar frå eit pågåande prosjekt.

Abstract [en]

How can we facilitate a functional and purpose-oriented writing instruction for first grade students? This article discusses the relationship between writer development and writing development, the students’ text experiences and repertoire of meaning making resources, and their self-efficacy. The discussion is anchored in previous research and a multimodal social semiotic perspective on writing and substantiated through analysis of ethnographical data and student texts from ongoing research.
