Digitization of manual processes (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

This report is about digitization of manual routines and steps in production lines at Nobel Biocare. The problem specifically is partly a lot of paperwork and manual controls that take longer and more energy than it would actually do, and partly that the manually saved data cannot be used efficiently to help with production. The treatment of this problem first begins with an exploration of different theories and methods around digitization, User Interface, M-E-S and Double Diamond which are all believed to be useful in this field. Thereafter, treatment continues to adapt these methods to the current problem. From the beginning of the project, the solution has been assumed to be some form of software that digitally replaces the manual routines and manages the saving and use of data. The result is a complete design for an application compatible with tablets that both replaces paper and manual work, saves, and uses data efficiently.
