Abstract [sv]

Sveriges Regering antog 2017 handlingsplanen som tagits fram av [SKR] för hurskolorna ska digitaliseras (2021). Med bakgrund av denna digitaliseringsplan undersökerdenna studie vilka för- och nackdelar eleverna och läraren upplever när lärplattor används imatematikundervisningen.Studien innehåller kvalitativa och kvantitativa studier i tre klasser i F- 3, på två olikaskolor. I studien ingår observationer under en matematiklektion. Intervjuer genomförs med 36elever och de tre klasslärarna för att få svar på elevernas erfarenheter och förutsättningar förlärande. Dessa besvaras genom en enkät.Studieresultaten visar på en stor skillnad mellan elevernas och lärarnas upplevelse omeleverna lär sig matematik när de använder lärplattan. Eleverna upplever att de lär sigmatematik när de använder lärplattan, medan lärarna upplever att eleverna inte gör det. Ur ettsociokulturellt perspektiv visar studien att eleverna fortfarande samarbetar i ungefär sammautsträckning med eller utan lärplatta genom att de interagerar med, samtalar om och diskuterarmatematiken. Studien visar att arbetsron i klassrummet påverkas något positivt närlärplattorna används. Lärarna upplevs ha en medelgod till god kunskap om lärplattan somartefakt under matematikundervisningen. De upplevs även ha goda kunskaper inom TPACK.

Abstract [en]

In 2017 the Swedish government approved the action plan developed by [SKR] forhow schools should be digitized (2021). In light of this digitization plan, this studyinvestigates the advantages and disadvantages students and teachers experience using tabletsin mathematics teaching.The study contains qualitative and quantitative studies in three classes in elementaryschool at two different schools. The study includes observations in the classes during amathematics lesson. Interviews are conducted with thirty-six students and the three classteachers to get answers to the students' experiences and conditions for learning. They areanswering through a questionnaire.The study results show a considerable difference between the students' and theteachers' experience if the students learn mathematics using the tablet. The students feel thatthey are learning mathematics, while the teachers think that the students do not when they usethe tablet. From a socio-cultural perspective, the study shows students still cooperate toapproximately the same extent with or without the tablet by interacting with, talking about,and discussing mathematics. The study shows that the peace of mind to work in the classroomis positively affected when using learning tablets. The teachers are perceived to have anaverage to a good knowledge of the learning tablet as an artefact during mathematicsteaching. They are also perceived to have a good understanding of TPACK.
