Syftet var att undersöka betydelsen av utseende vid val av socialsekreterare (som representerades av fotografier). Hälften av en undersökningsgrupp med 60 klienter (eller f.d.) valde att välja socialsekreterare i stället för att bli tilldelad och personbedömningar gjordes på grundval av enbart foton.
