Sammanfattning

Det är oklart vilka mekaniska egenskaper som påverkar konsumentprodukter, det kan antas att form och geometri påverkar den upplevda känslan av konsumentprodukter. Syftet med projektet är att med hjälp av en panelstudie undersöka hur geometrin och vikanvisningar påverkar känslan vid användning av konsumentprodukter.Studien har utförts på tre konsumentprodukter med olika dimensioner där varje produkt produceras i två olika varianter. Resultatet visar att konsumentproduktens geometri har betydelse, medan vikanvisningar inte har någon markant inverkan.

Abstract

It is unclear which mechanical properties that affect consumer products, it can be assumed that the shape and geometry affect the perceived feeling of consumer products. The aim of the project is to examine how the geometry and folding views affect the feeling in the use of consumer products.The study was performed on three consumer products of different dimensions where each product was produced in two different versions. The results showed that consumer product’s geometry is significant, while the folding views do not have a significant impact.
