Abstract [sv]

Mer än 200 miljoner barn i skolåldern är överviktiga. I skolan har skolsköterskan en viktiguppgift att identifiera barn med övervikt i ett tidigt skede. Syftet med litteraturstudien var attbeskriva skolsköterskans möjligheter och begränsningar i det hälsofrämjande arbetet gällandeövervikt och fetma hos skolbarn i åldern 6-12. Metoden var systematisk litteraturstudie meddeduktiv ansats. Studien innefattade 13 artiklar som analyserades med kvalitativinnehållsanalys. Den salutogena modellen användes som teorianknytning. Resultatet visadeatt skolsköterskan möter både möjligheter och begränsningar i det dagliga hälsofrämjandearbetet. Det gällde i samarbetet mellan samhälle, skolledning, lärare och familj.Skolsköterskans egna erfarenheter och personliga uppfattning sågs både en möjlighet och enbegränsning i det hälsofrämjande arbetet. Slutsatsen är att litteraturstudien belyserkomplexiteten i skolsköterskans möjligheter och begränsningar i det hälsofrämjande arbetetoch att den salutogena modellen kan ha en betydande roll.

Abstract [en]

More than 200 million children in school age are overweight. The school nurse has animportant task in school to identify children with overweight in early stage. The aim of thisstudy was to describe the school nurses’ possibilities and barriers in the health promotionwork with overweight and obesity among school children in age 6-12. The method was asystematic literature study with a deductive approach. The study included 13 articles and wereanalyzed using qualitative content analysis. The salutogenic model was used as theoreticalapproach. The results showed that the school nurse meets both possibilities and barriers inthe daily health promotion work. It came to cooperation with community, schoolmanagement, teachers and family. The school nurses’ own experiences and personalperceptions were observed as both a possibility and barrier in the health promotion work. Theconclusion is that the literature study serves to highlight the complexity in the school nurses’possibilities and barriers in the health promotion work and to addressing the basis of thesalutogenic model.
