Abstract [ar]

Det finns flera olika programvaror för beräkning och analys av stabilitet rörande byggnader.

Dessa programvaror ska minska arbetsgången jämförelsevis med de traditionella

handberäkningsmetoderna. FEM-Design 14 och ETABs 2015 är två exempel på sådana

programvaror.

I rapporten avhandlas en jämförelse av mjukvarorna utifrån användarvänlighet, långvarigt

ägande och utbildningsmöjligheter, BIM & kompabilitet, teknisk specifikation, modellering

och hantering av modeller samt byggkoder.

Underlaget för jämförelsen mellan dessa två mjukvaror baseras på utförandet av en fallstudie.

I fallstudien modelleras en kontorsbyggnad på samma sätt i respektive program efter

bygghandlingar tillhandahållna av Strängbetong AB. Resultatet påvisar att programvarorna

har skillnader sig sinsemellan och därmed har sina respektive för och nackdelar.

Abstract [en]

There are many different software applications which calculates and analyze the structural

stability of buildings. The software applications aim at minimizing the effort of work in

comparison to the older methods. Two examples of these software are FEM-Design 14 and

ETABS 2015.

In this report a comparison between them based upon userfriendliness, long term ownership

and educational services, BIM & compability, technical specification, modeling and

managing of models and building code.

The basis for the comparison between these two softwares is based on carrying out a case

study. In the case study an office building was modeled in the same way in each application

by construction documents provided by Strängbetong AB. The result demonstrates that the

software products have differences between themselves and thus have their respective pros

and cons.
