Abstract [sv]

Syftet i studien är att kartlägga vilka undervisningsstrategier och räknestrategier inom addition och subtraktion som tidigare forskning belyser. Studien är utformad som en systematisk litteraturstudie och artiklar har sökts via databasen Web of Science. Resultatet visar att tidigare forskning belyser undervisningsstrategier med hjälp av problemlösning, digitala verktyg, konkretmaterial och faktoriell undervisning. Angående räknestrategier så visar forskning att elever använder olika typer av strategier och att de går igenom olika faser för att finna effektiva räknestrategier för att lösa aritmetiska operationer. Slutsatserna av detta är att det finns flera olika typer av undervisningsstrategier som lärare kan använda och en variation av undervisningsstrategier är gynnsamt för elevers kunskapsutveckling. Eftersom eleverna använder olika typer av räknestrategier och går igenom faser för att utveckla räknestrategier är det viktigt att läraren uppmärksammar vilka strategier eleverna använder för att kunna hjälpa dem i sitt utvecklande av aritmetiska kunskaper.

Abstract [en]

The aim of this study is to identify teaching strategies and counting strategies in addition and subtraction as previous research highlights. The study is designed as a systematic literature study and articles have been searched through the database Web of Science. The results show that earlier research highlights teaching through problem solving, digital tools, concrete materials and factorial teaching. Research that includes counting strategies shows that students use different counting strategies and that they go through different stages to find effective strategies to solve arithmetic operations. The conclusions of this is that there are several different types of teaching strategies. A variation of teaching strategies can help students to learn mathematics and arithmetic. It is important for the teacher to pay attention to what counting strategies students use to help them in their development of arithmetical skills. That’s because the students are using different types of counting strategies and goes through phases of developing the counting strategies.
