The aim of our study is to investigate children's participation and influence in the preschool's image and form education based on Shier's (2001) model for participation. The data was collected through participant observations with field notes to capture the approach of two preschool teachers in two preschools' ateliers. The data material was analyzed through Shier's (2001) model. The result shows that three out of five levels were identified. The results also showed that children’s acts of resistance are a form of enabling their influence and participation in their education and the importance of how preschool teachers respond to this.
