This thesis has been carried out at Bucher Emhart Glass in Örebro and aims to propose improvement measures to the revision management process of raw materials. Problems with incorrect revisions, lack of information flow and unclear work routines have led to quality deficiencies, production stops and increased costs.The work is based on Design Research Methodology (DRM) and has been carried out in three phases: description of the current situation, analysis of the current situation and development of improvement proposals. Data collection included interviews, observations and document studies.The result consists of five improvement proposals aimed at eliminating the underlying causes of the identified problems. These include standardizing the way of working by creating routines and guidelines, as well as training of employees. The proposals also include development of the current business system to support further important information regarding revisions and a change in the creation of new revisions.Further work should focus on implementing the proposals and monitoring their impact in practice.
Detta examensarbete har genomförts vid Bucher Emhart Glass i Örebro och syftar till att föreslå förbättringsåtgärder till revisionshanteringsprocessen av råmaterial.
